ABOUT

Donna joined RNS as a teacher’s aide in 2022. After college she taught in her hometown, Wheeling, Ill. After her husband was transferred to Rochester she taught young children at R.I.T.’s Childcare Center. When her four sons entered school, she became a teacher with the Wheatland-Chil School district, teaching grades K, 1, 2, 3 and 4. Donna loved working with kindergarteners and taught five year olds for most of her career at Wheatland-Chili. 

Donna brings to RNS a master’s degree in Gifted and Talented Education and a master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from SUNY Geneseo.

Welcome Parents of Class of 2038!

This Fall is going to be exciting as we get to know each other. Becoming sociable is one of many concepts taught in our class. Being together 5 days for 6 hours allows us to all really get to know each other. Very soon we are all one big FAMILY . As we begin our school year, we will talk about Apples, Pumpkins, Leaves, and all things that go along with Fall. We will have our Annual Fall Stroll on October 6th.. On November 2nd, we will have Someone Special Saturday. We will have our class pictures on November 7th There are so many exciting, memorable activities that we will be doing in and outside our classroom. This Fall will be filled with a lot of fun!
